Meeting Room 307Celebrate America 250 with the sounds of Appalachia! Join us for a dulcimer workshop where you’ll learn about this traditional mountain instrument and its roots in Kentucky’s musical heritage.
Enjoy a short live demonstration, then try the dulcimer yourself and learn a simple tune—no experience needed! This interactive program is perfect for all ages and offers a fun way to connect with the music, traditions, and stories that have been passed down through generations.
Come discover how music brings us together and keeps our shared history alive.
To use one of our dulcimers for the hands-on portion of the program, please register to ensure we have enough to go around. If you have a dulcimer of your own you can bring, registration is not necessary!
